About this tool
What it does
An exam matrix: one row per topic or knowledge strand, one column per cognitive level, with multiple-choice and essay counts kept separate. Row totals, level totals and percentage weights recompute on every keystroke.
The four cognitive levels
Recognise, Understand, Apply, Apply at a high level — the four levels of the Vietnamese 2018 curriculum. The list is imported from Texva’s own exam-authoring code, so a matrix planned here and a paper assembled in the app share one definition rather than drifting apart.
Why the arithmetic is the point
Anyone can draw a grid; the mistakes are in the adding up. A matrix that does not total 10 points is easy to write and expensive to discover, because by the time it surfaces the questions have been chosen to fit it. This adds it up on every keystroke and says so the moment it is off.
Nothing leaves your browser
All of it runs in the page and prints from your browser. No upload, no account, no limit on how many you build.
