Terms of Service

This is the agreement between you and the Texva team covering your use of Texva. We have tried to keep it short and clear. Where something matters to your wallet or your data, we say so plainly rather than burying it in a long sentence.

The Vietnamese and English versions are both originals. Other languages are reference translations.

1. Who you are agreeing with

By creating an account or using Texva you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please don't use the service.

If you create an account on behalf of a school or organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. Texva is in beta

This is the first thing you should know. Texva is in beta:

• Features may change, pause, or be removed without long notice.
• There may be bugs. There may be outages.
• Documents exported during beta carry a small line noting they were made with Texva.

We say this up front because you will use Texva for real work — tests, lesson plans, lectures with deadlines. Keep your own copies of anything important. Texva keeps version history and lets you export files, but that is not a substitute for a copy of your own.

3. Your account

You must be 16 or older to create an account.

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens under your account. If you suspect someone else has access, change your password and tell us at support@texva.app.

One account per person. Don't share a paid account between several people — if several people need access, use a Team plan.

4. What you create is yours

You keep full ownership of the content you create in Texva. We claim no ownership, no copyright, and we do not use your documents in our marketing.

You grant us a limited licence, solely to operate the service: to store your documents, display them back to you, compile them to PDF, sync them across your devices, share them with exactly the people you choose to share with, and back them up. That licence ends when you delete the document or your account.

We do not use your content to train AI models.

You confirm you have the rights to what you upload: you wrote it, or you are licensed to use it, or it is permitted material. Exam questions, images, fonts and quoted material all fall under this.

5. You may not use Texva to

• Break the law of Vietnam or of where you live.
• Infringe anyone else's intellectual property.
• Upload malware, or attempt to break into, scan, or disrupt the system.
• Circumvent quotas, automate account creation, or resell the service without an agreement.
• Upload child sexual abuse material, incitement to violence, or other unlawful content.
• Use AI features to produce fraudulent, impersonating, or harmful material.

We do not read your documents to police them. But if we receive a report or identify a clear violation, we may act under section 11.

6. AI features

Texva includes AI-powered features: a writing assistant, exam generation, figure drawing, document import, and marking.

AI output can be wrong, and checking it is your responsibility. This matters more than usual here because your output goes to students: an incorrect answer key generated by AI and never checked becomes a wrong question in a real test. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or pedagogical suitability of anything AI produces.

AI-suggested marks are not final marks. A teacher must review and decide. Do not return AI marks straight to students unchecked.

About AI credits:

• Each plan includes an amount of credit per billing period. When it runs out, AI features pause until the next period or until you upgrade.
• Credits have no cash value, are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Unused credits do not roll over to the next period unless we state otherwise.
• The cost of each AI action depends on the model and the length of the content. The rates are shown in the app.

When you use AI, the relevant content goes to an external model provider — see Privacy Policy section 4. If you would rather not, don't use the AI features; the rest of Texva works fully.

We may change model providers, add or remove models, and adjust the credit cost of each model. Changes that increase cost will be announced in advance.

7. Classes and students — your responsibilities

If you use classes, assignments or exam rooms, you or your school are responsible for the student data, and we merely process it on your instructions. That has real consequences:

• You must have a lawful basis for putting student data into Texva. For students under 16 that normally means parent or guardian consent, collected by the school.
• Don't ask students for more than you need. Texva only asks for a display name; don't require students to type ID numbers, phone numbers or addresses into the name field or answer boxes.
• The class code is the key to the class. Anyone holding it can join. Don't post it publicly; close classes you have finished with.
• You answer student and parent requests about their data. We will support you when needed.

Schools and centres that need a signed Data Processing Agreement can write to privacy@texva.app.

8. Sharing and publishing

Texva offers several ways to share, with different levels of openness — you should be clear which one you are choosing:

• Invite by account: only people you invite get access, with view/comment/edit roles.
• Share links and present links: anyone holding the link can view, without an account. You can revoke them at any time.
• Publish publicly: the document is visible to everyone and may be indexed by search engines.

You are responsible for what you share and with whom. Before sharing an exam that contains answers, check whether you are sharing the student version or the full version.

Images and files you place in documents are served from a public path — see Privacy Policy section 11.

9. Plans and payment

Plans: Free, Pro and Team. What each includes, and prices, are on the pricing page. Prices are in Vietnamese dong (VND).

How to pay: bank QR code (SePay/VietQR), MoMo wallet, or bank transfer. We never receive or store your card details — payment is handled by the payment provider and we only receive confirmation that it succeeded.

Activation: your plan activates once the payment provider confirms, usually within minutes. If money has left your account and the plan has not activated within 24 hours, send us the order code at support@texva.app.

Term: a plan runs for the period you bought (monthly or yearly) and does not auto-renew and does not auto-charge. When it expires the account returns to Free; your documents remain, only the paid features stop.

Refunds: you may request a refund within 14 days of payment, provided you have not substantially used that period's paid features (including AI credits). Send the request with your order code to support@texva.app; refunds go back to the account you paid from.

Price changes: a new price never applies to a period you have already paid for. We give at least 30 days' notice before a new price applies to your next purchase.

Invoices: if you need a VAT invoice, contact support@texva.app with your order code and invoicing details.

10. What belongs to us

Texva — the software, interface, brand, logo, and the templates we supply — belongs to the Texva team. You may use it within these terms; you may not copy it, reverse-engineer it, or create derivative products from it.

Templates are an exception: documents you produce from our templates are yours, for teaching and for commercial use, with no attribution required.

If you send us feedback or feature suggestions, we may use them without payment and without creating any obligation.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Texva at any time and request account deletion under Privacy Policy section 9.

We may suspend or terminate an account for serious breach of these terms — particularly section 5 — or where the law requires it.

Except in serious cases or where the law requires otherwise, we will give notice and an opportunity to put things right, with reasonable time to export your data. If we terminate and you have not breached anything, we refund the unused portion of your fees.

If we discontinue Texva, we will give at least 90 days' notice and keep data export working throughout.

12. Warranties and limitation of liability

Texva is provided "as is". We work to keep it running well but do not promise it will never be interrupted, never have bugs, or suit every particular purpose you have in mind.

To the extent the law permits, our total liability to you across all claims will not exceed what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. For Free plan users that limit is VND 1,000,000.

We are not liable for indirect losses: lost profits, lost opportunities, or damage to reputation.

None of this excludes liability that the law does not permit us to exclude — including damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and your rights as a consumer under Vietnamese law.

In plain terms: if we lose your data through our own fault, that is on us. If your test has a wrong answer because you didn't check the AI output, that is on you.

13. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms. Every version carries a version number and effective date at the top.

Changes that materially disadvantage you will be announced at least 30 days in advance by email or in-app. If you do not agree, you may stop using the service and request a refund of the unused portion of your fees.

Continuing to use Texva after the effective date means you accept the new version.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Vietnam.

If there is a dispute, please contact support@texva.app first — most problems are solved by one email. If that fails, disputes will be resolved at the competent People's Court in Hanoi.

If you are a consumer resident in the EEA or the UK, this section does not remove your right to bring proceedings in the courts where you live under local consumer protection law.

15. General

If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force.

If we do not enforce a right immediately, that does not mean we have waived it.

You may not transfer this agreement to someone else without our consent. We may transfer it as part of a merger or business transfer, and will tell you if we do.

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and — where one has been signed — a Data Processing Agreement, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding Texva.
