Using and adapting it
Notes are only worth keeping if you can find them again, so title them by topic rather than by date. The Cornell split — a keyword column and a summary at the foot — exists for fast revision, so fill the keyword column right after the class while you still remember, not in exam week. Type formulas in rather than photographing the board: text can be searched later.
Common questions
- Do formula-heavy notes print sharply?
- Yes. The formulas and figures are vector and stay sharp at any size — unlike a screenshot, which breaks up as soon as it is enlarged.
- Do I need to know LaTeX to use this template?
- No. You edit it like an ordinary document — type, drag blocks, insert formulas from a visual keyboard. LaTeX only runs underneath to set the page, and you can still export the source if you want it.
