Formula Sheet

A compact two-column reference sheet for formulas, identities, and quick reminders.

What is already in this template

  • 7 pre-titled sections
  • 13 formulas already typeset
  • A multi-column layout

Using and adapting it

A formula sheet lives or dies on how fast something can be found: group by chapter in teaching order, and keep each group inside one column so the eye never tracks sideways. The formulas are typed as maths, not pasted as pictures, so fixing a symbol is an edit in place. If students will take it into an exam, print one and look a few formulas up yourself — anything you have to hunt for needs its own group.

Common questions

Does fixing one symbol mean redoing the sheet?
No. The formulas are typed as maths rather than pasted as pictures, so it is an edit in place, like fixing a word.
Can students take it into an exam?
If the rules allow it. Print one and look a few formulas up yourself first — anything you have to hunt for needs its own group.
Do I need to know LaTeX to use this template?
No. You edit it like an ordinary document — type, drag blocks, insert formulas from a visual keyboard. LaTeX only runs underneath to set the page, and you can still export the source if you want it.
