Using and adapting it
Letters to parents get read on a phone more often than on paper, so put the thing that matters in the first line and keep the whole letter to one page. Dates, amounts and reply-by deadlines belong in a list rather than buried in a paragraph — those are the lines people come back to a second time. Export a PDF and send it straight on; printed, it keeps the same layout.
